I’m writing this for myself, and for those who are going through a difficult time period in their life.
I’m going to start this off with a suggestion- Wake up tomorrow on the “good side” of the bed and make an effort to accomplish something by the end of the day. It doesn’t matter how big, or how small. Get something done.
I get it. Life isn’t necessarily easy. We all deal with the challenge of battling misfortune from time to time, and some of us right now, are jumping in and out of life-altering obstacles. Sometimes, we just don’t have the energy or the time to get anything done in such a tiny window of time, and I get that.
But you are the keeper of the flame. You are in control of your life. You tell the time. You make the time. Time is a very valuable thing, and it’s a shame we don’t see very much of it. It all passes by way too quickly.
If you are struggling right now, through something seemingly difficult, that no one quite seems to understand, the best thing to do is to focus on untangling all the words with a painful twist, and eliminating the pessimistic ideas in your mind. Make an effort at finding a break-through. Find a way to put out the fire.
No one ever says it’s easy. But it’s worth seeing the bright side of things. And no, I’m not talking about a flame. It’s all about making the first step. Make an effort.
